Our whisky

Grain whisky typically benefits from aging of 15 years or more. That’s why we select the best aged 20 year old whisky to create our Three Scottish Brothers Single Grain Scotch. To get the right flavour profile our master blenders are using recharred oak casks that over time develop a more refined dram, with notes of oak, vanilla and caramel.

Tasting notes

The whisky has a soft mouthfeel with rich notes of smooth caramel, toasted oak and spicy vanilla. It’s remarkably balanced and full bodied.

How to drink

To fully enjoy the taste we recommend drinking our 20 year old Single Grain neat or with a drop of water.

For the more wayward drinker we recommend classic whisky drinks such as the Rusty Nail or for the most daring, a challengingly good Blood and Sand Cocktail.

Rusty Nail recipe:

60ml (2 oz.) Three Scottish Brothers Single Grain Whisky
22 ml (l¾ oz.) Drambuie
Garnish: lemon twist

Add ingredients to a mixing glass and add ice. Stir until chilled, about 15-20 revolutions.
Strain over fresh ice in a chilled rocks glass. Express lemon twist and drop into glass.

Blood and Sand recipe:

22ml (3/4 oz.) Three Scottish Brothers Single Grain Whisky
22ml (3/4 oz.) ounce sweet vermouth
22ml (3/4 oz.) ounce Heering cherry liqueur
22ml (3/4 oz.) ounce orange juice, freshly squeezed
Garnish: orange peel

Add the scotch, sweet vermouth, cherry liqueur and orange juice into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
